New for 2022 we now have four campervan pitches that all have Electric Hook Up (EHU) facilities.
We have two ‘Campervan Pitches with EHU’ that measure 9 metre x 9 metre and have gridding underneath that allows the grass to grow through. Beech hedges surround these pitches for extra seclusion.
Our two new ‘Camping Field Pitches with EHU’ are located just inside the camping field along the beech hedge. These two pitches offer campervan or tent pitches with EHU. Underneath these pitches is a stone base with grass on top.
On all of our campervan pitches there is also space for you to put up an awning at no extra cost and room for your table and chairs too. Sorry but we cannot accept motorhomes due to access issues with trees. The restrictions for van sizes are: Length – 5.5 metres, Width – 2.5 metres, Height – 2.5 metres. To give an idea of “what fits” VW transporters and Mercedes Sprinters fit nicely sadly long base sprinters will not fit. Please note if you book this pitch and your vehicle is too big we won’t be able to even consider squishing you in unless we chop down a tree or two!
Please do give us a call if you’re not sure and we will help you. Our three electric and heated showers are obviously included in the pitch along with the toilets and washing up facilities are also part and parcel.
Please be advised that we have NO toilet / chemical waste facilities due to environmental factors. Under no circumstances can any chemicals or toilet contents be emptied into the toilets so we request that you use our spotless toilet and shower facilities while staying with us here at Ynysfaen.
If you would like any day guests to visit you while you stay with us, please be advised of the following: Day guests visiting you at Ynysfaen are permitted with prior permission due to number of people on site. The charge per person is £10, payable on arrival. Arrival time is 1pm onwards with departure by 8pm.

Myself and my partner (and our golden retriever) stayed on one of the 2 campervan pitches with electric for 3 nights. The pitch was very spacious and right next to the facilities, couldn’t fault it at all! The gardens are very well maintained and peaceful and there’s even a little stream running down the side of the campsite which helped to keep our dog cool.

We stayed at this campsite in our camper. On arrival we were greeted by two wonderful owners, very friendly and helpful. They took time to show us around and made sure we were happy with the facilities. We were so impressed! Everything was in very good condition and so clean. I mean really clean.

Pricing
£35 (based on 2 people)
Additional £12 per person per night. Children under 5 stay free.
Maximum for 4 people. This includes electric hook up, gridded grass hardstanding and use of all of the other campsite facilities.
Arrivals and Departures
Check-In: You can check-in between 1.00pm and 6.00pm on the first day of your booking. Upon arrival at the site, please check-in at the house. Vans need to be in place by 7.00pm.
Check-out: Please by 11.00am.
Payment
Full payment via our website booking system will be taken at the time of booking.
Other Information
There is no mobile phone reception or Wifi at Ynysfaen, which allows you to escape from the hustle and bustle completely, but a short walk up the hill will ensure you can catch the odd message or email… that’s if you want to be contacted!
We have a strict no noise policy after 10.00pm. We would prefer that you do not play any sort of music but if you do, please ensure that it is only audible for yourselves. Alternatively you can sit and listen to the river babbling away and some of the many birds that we have around the site. Please be advised that we do not allow any sort of “outdoor home cinema” set ups.
Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times while on site due to surrounding farmland and our insurance policy. All doggy do do’s must be taken off site to “complete” where possible and dogs MUST be cleaned up afterwards. We do supply a doggy do do bin and we have a supply of do do bags if you need them. We also have a dog watering bowl located at the front entrance to Ynysfaen so they can refresh after their long treks.
Terms
If you need to cancel your holiday before your arrival date and we are able to re-let your holiday, we will refund your payment less a 20% admin fee. In the event that we are unable re-let your dates, no refunds will be made. If you are concerned about the prospect of cancelling, please take out holiday insurance. Bookings are not transferable to another family without our prior agreement.
