Our handmade one bedroom cabin is our new addition to Ynysfaen. The cabin boasts its own private facilities which includes a shower, toilet, sink and a heated towel rail. Towels are provided for your use.

A fully equipped kitchenette with a two plate electric hob and microwave for cooking. All kitchen utensils are provided along with a kettle, tea, coffee and sugar.
The bedroom has a fully made up double bed and clothes storage area and an electric radiator for autumn and winter chilly trips. The living area has a double settee which is also a sofa bed so if you so desire, the cabin could sleep four people. Ideal for a family or close friends. If more than two people are staying, please ensure that we are aware at point of booking so that we can ensure extra bedding is available for you. There is also an electric log burner in the living area.
Of an evening you can relax on your own private decking area and watch the world go by whilst enjoying one of our fire pits and bbq for you to also use.
The cabin also comes with a storage shed for any equipment you need to store or for your bikes if you choose to bring them.
The cabin has an electricity payment meter. There will be a credit of £5 added to the meter per day which we envisage will cover the daily costs, however, if you need to use more electricity we have a £1 coin meter that you can add credit too. Not something we really wanted to add but with the soaring costs of energy I’m afraid we have to be realistic. We are confident that the credit will cover normal usage.
For a stay in our cabin you literally just need to bring yourselves, clothes, food, drink and your toiletries, everything else is here for you. If you wish to camp but you’d like to bring elderly parents or “ non tent campers “ for a trip away, it is ideal due to you being able to camp near to the cabin too.
Upon arrival a deposit of £100 is payable either by cash or bank transfer and providing all is well and good. Your deposit will be refunded before you leave us.
Excitingly we are also able to allow pets to stay in the cabin too. We would ask that they are not permitted onto the bed or settee. Please make us aware at point of booking if you are bringing pets. Maximum is realistically two medium sized dogs because of the living area space. Dogs must be on a lead at all times and under supervision while on site.

With only the two of us here to welcome you, accurate check in times are crucial for us. We appreciate traffic can hinder your journey so where possible, please let us know if you’re delayed, thank you.

Arrivals and Departures
Check-In: You can check-in between 1.00pm and 6.00pm on the first day of your booking. Upon arrival at the site, please check-in at the house.
Check-out: Please by 11.00am.
Payment
Full payment via our website booking system will be taken at the time of booking.

Other Information
There is no mobile phone reception at Ynysfaen, which allows you to escape from the hustle and bustle completely, but a short walk up the hill will ensure you can catch the odd message or email… that’s if you want to be contacted!
We have a strict no noise policy after 10.00pm. We would prefer that you do not play any sort of music but if you do, please ensure that it is only audible for yourselves. Alternatively you can sit and listen to the river babbling away and some of the many birds that we have around the site. Please be advised that we do not allow any sort of “outdoor home cinema” set ups.
Terms
If you need to cancel your holiday before your arrival date and we are able to re-let your holiday, we will refund your payment less a 20% admin fee. In the event that we are unable re-let your dates, no refunds will be made. If you are concerned about the prospect of cancelling, please take out holiday insurance. Bookings are not transferable to another family without our prior agreement.
